Wondercon …what did you pack?

Wondercon weekend in Anaheim a weekend of nerdtastic fun. The proper packing is always important. First thing is I do love cosplay. I love to watch people in great outfits and I admire all the time and effort that goes into the amazing creations. That said comfort is a priority for me when I’m going to be walking and on my feet all day so prefer closet play as its sometimes called.  Fun clothes that give fandom cosplay with comfort and ease. Here is a glimpse at a few things I packed for the weekend including plenty of fun reusable bags to carry around all my purchases.

Poolside at the Con

The weather is warming up and WonderCon is around the corner and ComicCon will be here in no time .You maybe saying to yourself ,what is a nerd girl to do when she wants to wave her nerd flag poolside? Well, I am a huge fan of Pinup girl clothing and am usually dressed like somebody out of the days gone by. So, when I came across this little number on Pinup Girl Clothing website, I knew this was going to have to be mine. It combines my love of Vintage inspired clothes with my favorite female superhero. Who is my favorite male superhero ? Batman ,but while the Batman suits are really cute it is the vintage look of this Wonder Woman suit that makes it stand out. Leverage

The great thing about the glory known as Netflix is finally finding that something special you didn’t even know you were missing. I have recently jumped into the Leverage  swimming pool that is 5 seasons deep.  In case this show slipped under your radar ( as it did mine) let me give you a short( very short) rundown. It’s about a group of criminals with different skill sets that now work a crew run by Nate Ford to now help people wronged by rich and powerful people. It is so much more than just that. They make the con look so doable. I could be a grifter right? Ok, maybe not but watching Sophie makes you think it’s a real possibility . All the characters are great and individual, but by far ,Parker, the unusual antisocial thief  is the best. She is a brilliant thief  but with no people skills and some badass base jumping skills. If your looking for geek references leave it to the resident  hacker Hardison  to give us  things like “Bow ties are Cool”.Dr. Who+ anything=win
